This is my Shadow. She got her name because she always walks behind me. She'll be a year old this summer. She was a stray kitten when I met her in a fed her and we've been together ever since. It's just me my son and shadow. My son is autistic and he loves Shadow so do I she's good for us and we're good to her.

Saturday night I accidentally laid on Shadow sleeping. I went to close the window and I put my knee down on her not knowing that she was there. I feel awfully terrible. She forgave me but she's limping and I know she's in pain breathing a little bit faster than usual and I'm worried.

Shadow is the perfect pet. She's loving accepting of my son who is severely autistic and that means a lot to me. She snuggles and nuzzles Sonny when he's asleep. She's barely a year old and I just hate to see her suffer if there's something I can do about it I will. So I'm here asking for help with her vet bills it's around $180 to get her examined and around 4 to 500 to get X-rays.

I am a single mother of an autistic child and it is hard for me to survive let alone keep money for vet bills. I'm begging please help her!
