Shadow is a 12-year-old Tabby in Coeur d Alene , ID, who needs $1,500 for Mastectomy Feline.

Shadow has been a fighter from the beginning she was born in Wolf Point, Montana in the middle of the summer as a stray. She was so tiny when I first rescued her that I had to bottle feed her. she loves to run around and play and she is extremely affectionate and loves being cuddled even in her elder years.

For the first few months of her life I was the only human she trusted and the only one she would let take care of her. After awhile she started to warm up to my other family members but the bond between us is unbreakable. Matter of fact the way she got her name was she would follow me everywhere like I had a shadow behind me lol.

Due to covid we have no emergency fund left to pay for the treatment she needs in order to save her and we are living paycheck to paycheck. She means the world to me she is like my child sense I can’t have kids. I can’t imagine having to let her go right now. I am heartbroke

On January 30,2021 I took shadow into my vet Dr. French at VCA Kootenai Animal Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho for a wellness check and to get an estimate on how much it would cost for dental work she’s been needing. While there the noticed a lump that they did a biopsy on and today February 3,2021 our fears are confirmed when we received a call from our vet saying it is cancer

Shadow is such a special and unique cat she is very empathetic and always know when something is wrong. She has been there for me through every tragic even and heart break as well as shared the excitement during the wins of this life. Not only is she empathetic but she is such a beautiful cat inside and out. She is very talkative and funny she always make me laugh
