Shadow is a 8-month-old Domestic House Cat in Gadsden, AL, who needs $781 for Limb Amputation.

A few month back shadow showed found us and he was a very sickly stray. He was scared of people and very under weight due to worms. We treated Shadow and got him all healthy. He very quickly became a loving member of our family! Our kids instantly fell in love with this charming little guy! His loving eyes and affectionate soul draw you right in!

Since finding us, Shadow has been an indoor/outdoor cat, but mostly prefers to be outdoors. He’s always waiting at the door to greet us in the morning and he’s always waiting for the kids when they get home from school. He loves to run outside and climb trees with my children! He also enjoys being wrapped up like a burrito and snuggling on the couch.

Shadow had a very loving and charming personality. He likes to hide and try to scare people. He also loves to harass our dog with all the skippity paps! He has no fear. He chased the kids around the yard like he’s a dog. Sometimes I think he may be a pup stuck in a kitty cat body! Most importantly, this baby loves his human snuggles!

We believe that Shadow may have been hit by a car However, we are not 100% certain on exactly how his injury was sustained. He suffered a nasty leg break that ultimately resulted in his back right leg being amputated. The original plan was to splint it, however once sedated, after closer review…that just wasn’t an option.

A few months ago we had an emergency car repair, and then just last month a $1500 plumbing emergency. Our emergency funds are gone. I want nothing more than to have Shadow healthy and able to run and play with his kiddos again!
