Shadow is a 6-year-old German Shepherd in Mount Holly, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Stomach Surgery.

We got Shadow when he was a puppy to keep my husband company on his deployment for the military. Two years later we moved back into the same house same state and Shadow and I became quite attached. I then went through anxiety, trauma and severe PTSD and Shadow became my service dog and went with me everywhere.

Shadow has a sister Bella who is also a German Shepherd. He lives with me and my husband. He loves running, playing fetch with the tennis ball and playing around the house

Shadow is the kindness, sweetest dog you would ever meet. He always knows when you are stressed and need loving. He will come right up to you and want you to pet him or will jump on you to distract you from the stress.

Shadow is undergoing emergency surgery to remove blockages in stomach that are creating a life threatening situation. Right now it is around $9,000.00 We do not have pet insurance or funds to cover the surgery

This dog is our service dog for anxiety, trauma and PTSD. It means everything to us. He literally went everywhere with me during the PTSD when I could not even leave my house
