Shadow is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Seattle, WA, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Surgery to Assess all Abdominal Organs.

I met shadow from the shelter. Initially, I wasn’t planning on getting cat when I was just wondering at the shelter. But then I saw shadow, she was so cute and immediately started cuddling with me, I felt there was some connection between us. So I took her home of course. She just likes my shadow that follows me everywhere at home, so I named her shadow.😭

Shadow stopped eating and has high fever. Tests revealed severe liver and bile duct abscess, a life-threatening infection. She was hospitalized and put on antibiotics, she was getting better initially. But then everything worsened
So fast. Since medication did not help, so she did a surgery to remove the abscess that’s causing the problem. She is in recovery now at timberland vet emergency.

She’s the sweetest girl out there. Loves coming on to my chest and purrs non-stop. She’s the best sister for my other cat that always let her brother to eat first. Oh right! She sleeps with me in my hug every night!!!!

I’m a PhD student whose salary is barely enough for us to live in this city. She’s gone through the surgery yesterday and recovery well now. I’ve spent $15k by all my credit cards and are in huge debt rn. Any help would be appreciated to get relieved a bit & for her recovery
