Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m reaching out for help for my dog, Shadow. I found Shadow as a puppy on the side of a highway, and since then, he's been my constant companion and emotional support through some of the toughest times in my life. Unfortunately, over the past few years, I’ve struggled to make ends meet and have barely been able to afford rent, let alone vet bills.

Shadow is in urgent need of dental care and is also dealing with early arthritis and ongoing stomach issues. I’m worried that there may be an underlying health issue, but I can’t afford the vet visits or treatments to figure out what’s really going on. Shadow has given me so much over the years, and the thought of losing him due to my financial struggles is heartbreaking.

Shadow is truly special—he’s incredibly kind and patient, always there to help me get out of bed on the tough days. He has a silly, sassy side too that never fails to make me smile. He’s not just a dog; he’s a huge part of my life, and I want to make sure he gets the care he deserves.

I work as a preschool teacher for a nonprofit, and while I love my job, it barely covers the cost of living with car payments, rent, and other essential expenses. As much as I want to give Shadow the care he deserves, it’s just not financially possible for me at this time.
