Shadow is a 10-year-old Poodle mix in Walkersville, MD, who needs $4,900 for surgery to fix a painful bulging disk.

Shadow has been with us from the second he was born, We were there for his birth and has been the love of my life ever since. Shadow is a Hybrid Mix of Beagle and Poodle. His Mommy "Gaby" belongs to our neighbour, Mary who loved Marco and Polo's dispositioned, she said she wanted to mate Gaby with one of our boys...Polo was the winner..and soon Gaby was pregnant, she had 4 pups 3 boys and a girl ...the second I saw Shadow's little round silky shiny fur ball body I fell in love with him, and have been every second since!! Shadow was welcomed and loved by our other 2 pups a year old at the time and they are to this day inseparable!!!!
Marco and Polo are both Poodles, we brought them home at the same time, Marco was 8 weeks old and Polo was 3 months old.
We have as some ppl would say, "spoiled" our babies..We cook them fresh food every other day, We knit and crochet all of their blankies and sweaters by both my daughter and myself, Shadow loves to wear any and everything and it is so funny to see how each one of them knows, which sweater or blanket belongs to who!!! and if I put the wrong one on one of them, rest assured they clearly let me know...They are very vocal!!! and it is hilarious to see them lined up to get their measurements!!
Shadow is very laid back, he has the Beagle body, with the poodle face but looks like both Gaby and Polo.
He's intuition or whatever you want to call it has saved my life more than once, the last time he saved me from what could have been the loss of my leg. He is the sweetest, loyal, obedient, Baby you can ever meet! And unless you hear it for yourself you will not believe he says Momma!!!!
He loves it when I sit him with me and just rub him and cuddle with him and loves it, even more, when I sneak him an extra treat after his Nana told him no more!!
Words can not express how I feel about My Shadow nor what he means to our family, and I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart is that He keeps me alive, our babies are my reason for waking up every day.
