Shadowmutt is a ten-year-old black lab mutt and one of the best parts of my life. I've been with him almost his entire life short of a year in Germany with my unit. I got him at only 9 weeks old and since then we've done just about all we can together. In this last year of new job training with the army, I've had a lot of long days with school and then homework but he always keeps me on track by bringing his ball in to tell me its time for a study break.
