Shane is a 4-year-old Cattle Dog Mix in Payson, AZ, who needs $1,800 for Antivenom/Hospitalization.

Shane is a four year old cattle dog mix that I've had since he was a small pup. He and my other dog are my only companions at home since I live by myself and is the sweetest boy. They are my whole life and I am hoping to get him the care he needs. Early today he was bit by a rattlesnake and is so swollen and painful!

Shane loves to play with his housemate and run around the property chasing squirrels and barking. He loves people and would follow me anywhere. Shane also loves riding in the truck around my small town, he loves swimming in the creek behind my house, and he loves to play ball with the other dog. He could play all day if you let him.

He is always amazed that the squirrels always manage to get away - he'll never stop trying though. He also rolls over for belly rubs all the time, and gets special "people food" treats when I'm eating dinner which he gets so excited for. He also loves to bark - it's like he's talking to me in his own way.

He was bit by a rattlesnake, most likely one that made it's way into the yard, and is in need of anitvenom. It's very expensive to pay for the antivenom and he may need hospitalization also at an emergency center. We will try to get him seen at 1st Pet Veterinary Centers in Mesa, AZ as soon as we are able to pay for his treatment.

I currently live off of social security/disability due to past injuries/urgeries that don't allow me to work anymore. I live alone and don't have any financial help outside of my household. Many places take carecredit but I have never used credit before and don't qualify.
