Sharon is my 13-year-old rescue dog and my best friend. She has always been full of love and life, but suddenly started bleeding from her mouth and stool, we found out she has immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (IMT) — a severe condition where her immune system destroys her own platelets, leaving her unable to clot or stop.
