Recently, we discovered another mammary tumor forming, and her vet recommends a full mammary gland removal to prevent the cancer from returning. This surgery is crucial for Sharon’s health, but it comes with significant costs—costs that we cannot cover without your help.

Sharon may be a senior, but she still has so many joyful years ahead. She loves gentle pets, curling up in cozy spots, and showing affection in her quiet, loving way. Her courage and sweetness are reminders that age is just a number—and that every cat deserves a chance to live fully and happily.

Sharon underwent surgery to remove new mammary tumors. Her biopsy results confirmed that the tumors were stage 2 cancer. While we don’t know what her life expectancy will be, we’re focused on making sure every day she has left is filled with love, safety, and peace.

Our biggest hope now is to find her a fospice (foster hospice) home where she can live out her days surrounded by warmth and affection — instead of spending them in the shelter. Sharon would do best as an only cat, which has made it difficult to find someone able to take her home. But we know there’s someone out there with room in their heart for this gentle soul.
