SheDo is a 14 year old American Shorthair in Cottonwood, CA, who needs $3,600 for Enucleation Possibly Exenteration.

SheDo was adopted at 8wks. She's been my emotional support pet 14yrs & needs emergency surgery. I am a disabled Navy veteran on a limited income, I can only afford to make payments. However, the vet won't accept payments for the $2,800 - $3,600 cost of surgery & after care treatment. SheDo was a gift from my late fiance who visited her at the shelter each day for 7wks before adopting her for me.

I took SheDo to VCA Gateway Animal Hospital in Anderson, Ca last week. I was told she needs emergency surgery or she would have to be euthanized. The surgery costs more than I can afford all at once and they don't accept payments. If they did, I could have had the surgery the next day and have her back home with me on her way to living happy again.

SheDo has been by my side in my darkest times, incl. losing my fiance (who adopted SheDo for me) to a sudden heart attack. I need SheDo more than ever as our move back to California has been very difficult. One of my disabilities is depression caused insomnia. SheDo always sleeps against me using my arm as her pillow. She naps on my chest. I depend on her every day. I Love SheDo w/ all my 💜

My fixed disability income and recent major auto repairs keeps me from affording her surgery. I'm willing to pay back every dollar raised within a few months as saving SheDo’s life is my only priority. But, this helpless emergent feeling is so painful.
