Sheeba is a 22 month old German Shepherd Dog in punta gorda, FL, who needs $750 for Discospondylitis Blood Cultures.

Our 12 year old gsd had just crossed the rainbow bridge in Feb 2023 I wasn't looking to replace her. We were on vacation in March of 2023 and came across somebody selling their puppies I fell in love with her first picture. We have had her as family since she was 8 weeks old.

She is now diagnosed with Discospondylitis. After being told she had pyometra and needed emergency spay surgery. She is currently paralyzed from the waist down. Being told if we can pin point kind of infection and get on right antibiotic she will walk again

I was still mourning the loss of my gsd and we got Sheeba a month later. My dad then passed unexpectedly in April and I really feel like she was sent to us to help me heal. She wouldn't allow me to not get up or take her out to play. She saved me and now I want to save her

I've been a manager for 14 years my store was sold and I was laid off 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and then she got sick. I don't know if I can handle anymore loss she is more than a dog she is my child
