My Sheeba Doo came into my life when she was 4 years old and she needed a stable environment as her owner at the time was in and out of prison. Her and I became fast friends, she would come over to visit and we would play ball and chase. We lived on the same property as her previous owner. When I became the primary care taker of her, we became super close and she has become my lil soul dog.

Sheeba Doo has been very healthy up until this rattlesnake bite. My daughter, her boyfriend, Sheebs and I went up the mountains to have a picnic and a little hike and came across the unfortunate event. Being 4th of July, most Vets were closed. We did however find the Royal Vista Vet Specialists in Windsor, Co. was open and had the anti-venom. She was in the animal hospital for 24 hours.

The strong bond I have with my Sheeba Doo is because her and I understand each other's needs and we communicate effectively. She seems to bark in silly ways and howl at me. She also sits like a human and she has so many expressive facial expressions.

On May 4th, I lost my job due to business cuts and have just finally found another one but start on Monday and it is a big pay cut. I had a little bit of savings and was using that for rent, but had to spend it all on the vet hospital. I am now -$180.00 in my account.
