About this campaign

Sheena (Jane in Gaelic) was rescued as the runt from a backyard breeder. Around 1 she began to have hard time doing steps, and waddling. She was diagonals hip dysplasia, very minuscule so why can’t she walk? We did physical therapy for months - massage, underwater treadmill, exercises, and treated her skin for horrible allergies. Finally $4000+ a few mo later. We had two orthopedic opinions, confirming the immediate need for double partial ACL repairs. Well, the day of surgery she couldn’t have it because her allergies were really a masked mrsa infection (still treating at this point as she is a carrier). When she finally had the surgery in Aug it came back delaying wound healing. As of Oct 9, she is still on a second antibiotic as she is resistant to most. She is continuing her rehab at home
