Sheena's past is a bit of a mystery. She was spotted wondering as a stray near an extremely busy highway. Luckily, D&A found her and was able to get her to safety before tragedy struck.

D&A quickly noticed something seemed off with Sheena's walk and there was something wrong with her back legs. They took her to a veterinary clinic who diagnosed Sheena with cruciate ligament tears in both hind legs.

This means Sheena will require surgery in both legs. The surgery is very intensive and has a long, slow recovery. Due to this, Sheena will have to undergo two separate surgeries to allow her first leg some time to heal before completing the second surgery. She will require months of close monitoring and rehab to make sure her legs heal properly.

D&A is slowly getting to know Sheena's sweet personality. Despite her unknown past and leg pain, she is warming up to the D&A team and showing her tenderhearted spirit.
