Sheila is a 9-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd in Marine, IL, who needs $2,000 for abdominal mass removal.

We picked sheila out in Sept. 2010 based on her adorable face and built in eyeshadow; we decided on the name Sheila because she is a mini austrailian shepherd and that is what they call girls in Austrailia. At the time our family consisted of my 2 children who were 10 and 6 and were heavy into extracurricular activities. Sheila immediately went to all their soccer and softball games and became the team mascot. My youngest daughter, Shannon, showed Sheila in 4H for many years in Obedience. Sheila was grand champian in the Rally class and in the Trick Class; sheila's favorite trick is jumping, so Shannon trained her to jump through hula hoops. I also trained and shown Sheila in local agility trials; she loves all the running, tunnels and jumping. My Ex-husband left us for another woman in 2014 so our family remained as 4 girls, mom, 2 kids and Sheila. Sheila loves her family and greatly enjoys playing in the pool in the summer and the snow in winter. We take Sheila everywhere with us, she goes to nursing home and schools; she loves to ride in the shopping cart at Rural King and Home Depot! She loves to go kayaking/canoeing with us. My daughter takes her to the park and Sheila goes down all the slides and sits in the swing and merry-go-rounds. We dress her up every Halloween and take her in the local parades in costume.
