Shelby is a 2-year-old Pitbull/ Labrador in Aguanga , CA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Shelby came to 2 years ago from a neighbor, we got her when she was months old. She is the sweetest girl and best big sister to her younger sister Raquie a 11 month old Rottweiler. They are the best of friends and Shelby has been the best mentor ( mainly teaching her sister how to dig huge holes in our yard looking whatever they think is there.)

Our dogs are our babies, we don’t have kids so they are literally our babies. And just like kids they both sleep in our bed and as much as we would like our space back we love having them with us. Shelby loves rope toys so she can play tug a war with her sister. She loves squeaker toys especially squeaker balls. She can’t run after them anymore but she will sit and squeak that ball until I take it

Shelby is the sweetest girl in the whole world she is so gentle and just loves to be loved. She loves her treats more than anything. She does the cutest little dance when you give her, her favorite treats which are pig ears and flavored beef bones. Everyone that meets Shelby just instantly loves her, she loves everyone. And she is my girl.

We noticed Shelby was limping on her back leg. Somedays were better than others being that we live on 3 acres so there is a lot of room for them to get into trouble, which they do. After awhile she started limping more often. After a visit to the vet, she told us we needed to see a surgeon and from there we found out she tore her ACL. The surgeon said she needed surgery ASAP.

I myself am actually having surgery done at the end of this month as I write this. With that I will be out of work for a month and can only work part time after. So paying for my dogs $8000 surgery is not in budget. And I just want my baby to be her puppy self again.
