About this campaign
Shelby is a 7-year-old rescue and my foster fail from the Atlanta Humane Society, where I adopted her in March. Shortly after, she had a bladder stone removed, but AHS lost the stone, so we couldn’t determine if it was genetic. Now, she has multiple large stones causing recurring UTIs, and surgery is her only option. Shelby is a loving, joyful dog who deserves a chance to live a healthy life.
Shelby is facing a serious medical issue with multiple large bladder stones causing painful, recurring UTIs. Her condition requires surgery, estimated at $4,000, which is her only option for relief and a healthy life. She is being treated at VCA Midtown Atlanta, where they’ve provided excellent care and confirmed the urgency of the procedure to prevent further complications.
Shelby is the sweetest dog with a heart full of love. She adores kids, gets along with every dog she meets, and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Her gentle nature and constant joy brighten every moment. Shelby loves snuggling, playing, and being around people, making her an irreplaceable part of our family. She’s truly one of a kind and deserves the best chance at a happy, healthy life.
My fiancé and I are a young couple, and with him serving in the Army, we’re currently unable to afford Shelby’s surgery. It’s heartbreaking, and we’re doing everything we can to help her. Having Shelby healthy again would mean the world to us. She’s my companion when we move
