Shelby is a 7-year-old Shitzu in Parma , OH, who needs $1,500 for Extractions and X-rays.

Shelby has been with me since she was born. I received her as a gift when I graduated from high school from my grandparents who had two shitzus of their own and had a litter. She was the only girl of five puppies and we were instantly attached. She has been with me ever since. I couldn’t imagine it any other way

Shelby loves people. She will run up to anyone looking for pets and love. She is very full of life and loves going on walks and car rides. She’s always looking for attention. If you rub her belly, you will be her friend forever. She’s not to keen on other dogs, but people she cannot get enough of.

Shelby has been my emotional support animal for the last 7 years. She has helped me through the loss of my father and is currently helping me with the loss of my older brother this past year. She comforts me and makes me laugh when she gets the “zoom zooms” running around my apartment. I consider her my child and best friend

Shelby is needing to have multiple teeth extracted and my current insurance does not cover the extractions or X-rays needed. She currently goes to Bain field pet hospital in Parma. They quoted me $3400 for all of the extractions. I do not have all the money to cover the costs. Some of the teeth that need extracted are very bad.

I am currently pregnant and due in April 2022 and do not have all of the money it is going to take to cover Shelbys dental needs. I call her my first born and I would do anything for her. To not be able to provide this care for her is killing me.
