Someone left Shelley tied to a pole in boardman park, angels for animals rescued her and put her up for adoption. We saw her online and adopted her. Best thing we have ever done. Love her so so much. When we found out she was in kidney failure we fell apart, was so shocked, didnt expect that. Life just wont be the same without her. Will do anything to help her get better.

From the day we brought her home from Angels For Animals she has fit in very nicely. For the last 5 1/2 years she has made us laugh. She is the best snuggler. She is the sweetest girl. We call her sugar because she is so sweet. She rides nicely in the car and loves car rides. She gets along with other dogs.

It means everything to us to get Shelley healthy again but money is running low. Dont know how much longer we can afford it, but not too much longer. Have tried eve everything to get extra money to help her survive.

In May 2021 Shelley wasnt feeling well so we took her to Medvet. They kept her the weekend because of renal failure. $2200 later we took her home. From there on we took her to our vet Dr. McKenzie. We took her home with two weeks of subcu fluids, entyce and another drug for vomiting, needles and lines. Took her back for blood tests, improved a little bit but had to continue meds. $1000 more

Shelley is so sweet. She just makes you smile all the time. Thats why it is so hard to see her hurt. We just want her to feel better. Her tail just wags all the time. She just loves everybody. She loves dogs, cats, kids. Always looks for attention and love. Loves rubs, walks, loves loves food.
