Our sweet beautiful kitty came into my life when he was young as a rescue. When I had my son he loved on him and they are best friends. He’s such a wonderful cat and has helped train our other rescues in now to be gentle with our son. He always picks up on our emotions and snuggles in to let us know everything is okay.

Shieva is calm and relaxed and loves sneaking drinks from our cups when we aren’t looking. He makes the funniest noises when he gets excited and is constantly purring. He is picky about water and it has to be fresh, unless it’s toilet water which for some reason is his favorite. My husband had never had a cat before and they bonded instantly just like Shieva did with our son.

I’m currently a stay at home mom and we just bought a new house that took all our savings to get. We have already used a lot for the medical treatment Shieva has had so far. He still needs surgery and we just can’t afford the whole payment. Trying to do everything possible.

Recently Shievas paw started bleeding and had a bump that rapidly grew in size. We took him to an emergency vet and they ended up making it worse. We went to our vet and they said it seems as if he has gotten part of his paw hooked into something and pulled some pad out. He’s in pain and needs surgery to fix it so that he can walk and play normally.

Shieva has 2 best friends that are also rescue kitties. They all pile into the bed and cuddle after everyone is asleep. He learned to do some tricks like sit, stand on his back legs, and always comes to greet us. His favorite thing is tummy rubs!! When the youngest cat gets scared and hides Shieva goes to comfort him.
