One of the patients I deliver food to gave me this cat. He said that it seemed like a miracle the cat would wake up every morning. I took off work early to get supplies for the cat. When I returned, he told me I should take the cat because he thought I'd be able to care for it better than he can.
I named him Shinji and took him home with me.

I am not sure what his wrong with Shinji, I want to get a general veterinarian check up, then go into t he more pressing details after we get a proper examination. However it is clear that he is malnourished and there is something wrong with his eye. My Grandfather believes it's a tumor of some kind, which could cost money I don't have.

Shinji has been very sweet and kind from the moment I picked him up. Despite his frail condition and poor eyes he is full of love. He is always purring whenever I'm around and loves to eat.

My grandfather, who I live with, has outright REFUSED to assist or help the cat because 'he doesn't want to.' I recognize the futility in fighting with him, but at the very least I want to do what I can for him before I have to look for a forever home for him.
