Shmitty is 11 years old and lives with his 4 other companions with our family of 3. He is the boss of the pack and loves cuddling. He’s always carrying his toy mouse around showing off his catch.

Shmitty had a bladder stone removed 7 days ago and after he came home he wasn’t eating. After calling the vet multiple times and trying everything to get him to eat with no success I took him to the emergency vet. Shmitty by this point is in full kidney failure. He did not receive enough fluids after surgery to flush his kidneys so he now has kidney levels that have cause failure.

Shmitty is the leader and man of the house, he is definitely the alpha. He loves cuddling with us. He has such a playful personality. You can count on him trying to steal a bite of your cookies!

After paying for the original surgery this is a huge financial strain on top of that. I am a single financial parent of 2. I make it every month but I do not have a very large savings. We are absolutely heartbroken this happened to our baby. We need him to be okay.
