Si is a 10-year-old Chihuahua in Batesburg, SC, who needs $2,000 for Hernia Repair.

Si has been a part of our family for almost 11 years. I had a miscarriage and was gifted Si as a replacement for our baby. Then we had 3 kids after. Si has been such a good boy his whole life. He has helped our family get through many battles in life. He is an inside baby, he is very spoiled. His favorite food is chicken. He loves everyone around him, especially me & the kids. He love howling.

Si sleeps in bed with me & typically likes to be under the cover too. Si loves to run around the yard after he uses the bathroom. He has a best friend named CoCo & when you say his name, he cocks his head and starts howling for his best friend. Si is the best baby. He loves to go to the mountains where it’s cool. He absolutely loves car rides! He goes with me everyday to get the kids from school.

Si is a talker for sure. When his water bowl is empty, he will bark at you until you put some more in his bowl. He barks at the teachers every morning we let the kids out for school because he knows he’s going to miss them. The teachers say “oh there’s your protect dog” & we have to correct them because to us, Si is not a dog, he is our family, our perfect furbaby. Everyone loves Si!

Si got attacked by my neighbors dog on 2/17/24. He ran and hid out of fear and was gone until 2/19/24 at 2:40am. I took him to the vet as soon as they opened & they done an X-ray but for right now because of the swelling, they could only tell that he has a traumatic abdomnal wall hernia caused from the dog attacking him. They are referring him to a surgical specialist for surgery!

The Surgical Specialist has quoted us $5,000-$10,000 for surgery due to all of the unknowns when they get in. He could have more organ damage from the attack than they can see at this moment. I would love to have our baby healthy again . I do not want to put my baby down.
