Sia is a 2 year old American Shorthair in Missoula, MT, who needs $600 for Dental Surgery.

Sia has been part of my family for 2 years, and she is the sweetest most loving girl. During covid, I was looking for a ESA when I heard about a shelter that was overrun with kittens. I was not able to meet her before the adoption, however when the representative said her name was Alberta Einstein in the shelter, she won me over. The first night I had her she was already climbing the chimney!

Sia has never had serious health issues until around Christmas time. I started to brush her teeth daily, when I noticed two of her molars were looking very irritated. By January when her appointment came up, the vet (Grant Creek Veterinary) believed she may be allergic to the enamel on her teeth. This has caused them to rapidly decay, causing Sia pain.

I have worked with pets for almost 5 years, and I’ve never met a cat like Sia. I call her Sia Bean Baby, or just bean, which she will come to when you call her. Sia only chirps like a bird, and finds meowing quite annoying, and she will let Cosmo my other cat know. If there is anyone new in the home, she is the first to greet them. She LOVES going into the pet stores and saying hello to everyone.

I’m from Vermont, and moved to Montana for school. There weren’t enough students for my program and it was cancelled. I have had to make significant life changes and unfortunately I did not have money saved for the vet. Sia is my baby and any help means the absolute world!
