Sia is a 6-year-old Boston Terrier in Winter Springs, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Herniated Disc near Spine.

March 2018 I contacted a breeder regarding a 3 month old Boston Terrier. I was so in love with her. The breeder stated that she had found a home. I got a call back the next day stating that the pup had been brought back due to cherry eye . I went to pick her up right away, the cherry eye did not matter. In the car ride I named her Sia after the singer.

Sia is babied in our home. She has a bed in my room, my youngest sons room even though when he falls asleep she jumps in bed with him. She has a bed in her crate . Sia doesn't have a bed in my oldest sons room because his bed is her bed. lol Sia loves to play, be cuddled loves to naps with me. She enjoys sitting on the balcony. Sia also loves attention and to be petted.

Sia enjoys lettuce. When I open a bag of lettuce she appears in the kitchen out of nowhere. She knows the difference between a bag of salad and shrimp. She doesn't show up when I open a bag of shrimp. When I pet Sia and stop she will use her paw to keep me petting or she will put her head under my hand. If any of us close the door on her she scratches on the door for us to open.

12/30/23 my son was feeding treats to Sia & she started to choke.I put my fingers down her throat to get the treat out.It worked; the next day she was stiff & whimpering in pain. After many visits and her getting worse.I was referred to Blue Pearl Hospital. Neurologist thinks it may have a herniated disc near her spine.MRI & Chest x-ray is needed to confirm & then surgery to correct herniated disc

I am a single parent & have spent over $1,500 in vet visits & her medication. The neurologist visit was $930 I have maxed out my credit cards. They require $9,000.00 deposit just for MRI &chest x-ray. The estimate given for everything $10,630. They don't offer payment plans.
