Sierra is a 6-year-old Mixed Breed in DUMFRIES, VA, who needs $950 for Mass Removal, Blood Work, & Biopsy.

Our Sierra was rescued off the streets of Falls Church in January 2016, when she was just 3 months old, right before a big snowstorm. She had been wandering around at the local parking lot. We took her home but she was very sick. She had a lot of mucus in her lungs. She received care from the vet, but her breathing still can be noisy.

Sierra shares her home with a boxer and 2 cats, also rescues. Sierra loves dog biscuits and bones. She sleeps in bed and has to have a blanket over her at night. She loves her forever home and is extremely happy.

We call Sierra our wiggly dog because when you come home she just loves to see you and just wiggles everywhere. You can't help but smile!!! She listens well and is very sweet!!!

Sierra was seen at Anicira due to a bump on her neck. After careful examination and several fluid and cell extractions, the vet determined that Sierra has a cancerous tumor growth on her neck. This estimated that the cost would be around $850.

Due to my husband's death and a great financial hardship, as well as missing 1 month of work from Covid, I have not been able to come up with the cost for Sierra's surgery. We desperately need help to remove this tumor now because it has started affecting her breathing.
