Silver is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Minneapolis, MN, who needs $2,000 for Chain Mastectomy (x2).

Silver is the daughter of a stray dog we saved and brought home with us from CA years ago. Silver was birthed in our home under our watch. We've kept mama and babies together in our care their entire lives.

We attend Mission Animal Hospital for all 4 of our pups. Silver has mammary masses along her chest and stomach, requiring 2 separate surgeries to remove the entire mammary chain along each side. They continue to spread & grow over time, creating more discomfort for her. They may or may not be cancerous, but we were told a biopsy wouldn't give us a fully accurate answer. Surgery is recommended.

We've raised Silver from birth. She has been with our family for 7+ years. She was there when we first brought our son home from the hospital. She lays beside him during every nap, she tends to him when he cries. Silver is very observant, attentive and is full of love and affection.

I have a 3 1/2 year old son with medical needs (which began during the pregnancy and will continue on through the rest of his life). I had to leave my healthcare job when he was born, in order to provide his medical cares and bring him to his multiple weekly appointments.
