About this campaign
Simba is a rescue dog that was on the verge of being euthanized and Ruff Start came to the rescue and took him on until I found him on the website and fell in love and decided to adopt him.
In November of 2024, Simba underwent TPLO surgery to repair a ligament in his hind leg. The procedure involved inserting a plate to help with the repair, but unfortunately, Simba has continued to struggle with his leg ever since. Despite multiple lab tests and even the removal of the plate, the cause of his ongoing difficulty using his leg remains a mystery.
Help Save Simba! He is a lifesaver, guarding my diabetic sister and supporting my nieces. Mounting bills require an urgent U of M clinic MRI to check for nerve damage or a tumor. A healthy Simba means our family is safe. Your donations directly fund his scans and labs, getting him back to his beloved hobbies: hiking, visiting waterfalls, and running beside my bike. Thank you for your support!
This incredible protector needs us to protect him. The emergency veterinary care, diagnostic testing, and necessary medical treatments are far exceeding what our family can afford alone.
