Simba is a 15-year-old short hair in Greensboro, NC, who needs $349 for Fiv/Felv testing, diagnostic testing, and flea treatment.

Simba and his 3 siblings are around 12 weeks old and were born in an abandoned car in my apartment complex. Simba has been cared for by me since he's been of age to separate from his mother, and he lives alongside Zelda & Midnight, his two new cat friends. As of 3 days ago, he was the happiest, fastest runner, & best climber, of a kitten ever.

He is very sweet and doesn't turn down cuddling. Since his health has declined, he prefers to sleep most of the day, and cuddle in a way that keeps him very warm. When in good health, Simba runs, hops, climbs, pounces, and plays ball, and with our hands. We are gentle with him and he is gentle with us, but sometimes he just wants to play with a hand or two. He loves his family - human and feline.

Because of Covid I no longer have my 2 jobs. I was just hired, though training starts October 19. I'm doing my best to find work in the meantime, but Simba's health is time sensitive. Him being healthy again would make me beyond relieved & incredibly happy.

I administered Bayer Tapeworm medicine on 9/15 & he was given a more broad worm medicine to take at home, when he went to the emergency clinic on 9/21. He will now be going to Southwoods Animal Hospital to be tested, & to hopefully receive vaccinations & medications as needed, where he'll be seen by the same vet as his friend Zelda. I am hoping to rule out FIP & distemper as soon as possible.

If you have seen the video, you have an idea of how playful he is, & how happy he makes me. He hops and jumps so fast, it's often difficult to see him in motion. He likes to chase his tail, play with his feet, play ball & chase with his feline friends. He's very impressive when climbing, running, and hopping. *He's such a lively spirit & I just want him to be healthy & feel okay again.*
