Simba is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Santa Ana, CA, who needs $25,000 for Foot/Ankle Injury.

I got Simba from a friend that couldn’t keep kittens from his cats litter I was going through depression at the time and I thought it would be a good idea to get a pet and keep myself occupied and joyful since I always wanted a kitty. It was the best decision I ever made he not only helped overcome my depression but he is the light of the household everyone adores him.

Simba currently has a foot/ankle injury it is not broken but the vets can’t seem to figure out what’s going on because it not getting better. He’s had X-rays at Orange County emergency clinic and he’s been seen at Santa Ana veterinary hospital and he has a specialist appointment 02/19/26 at vca Orange County vet specialist. He also has a grade 3 heart murmur and needs an ekg done.

Simba is such a sweet boy he loves to purr while you show him love and likes to pay with anything and everything. He knows when you are sad and likes to comfort you, as I said previously he is my therapy kitty he helped me overcome my depression and helps ease my anxiety.

It would mean the world to get my baby the care he needs without having to worry about the cost. I recently lost my grandmother due to cancer and it was an unexpected financial crisis for me and my family that put a lot of financial stress on us and now Simba is been sick.
