Simon was a gift from my mom due to me always wanting a dog. He came to us in 2012 when I was 11 years old. He chose me and his name. Came up to me, fell asleep in my arms and didn't wake up till we were thinking of names and said 'Simon'. We have 3 other pets, 2 cats and 1 other dog.

Simon is in need of a tail amputation due to a growth causing pain and discomfort. There was a cyst on his tail but just recently it got bigger and burst. It has now burst a cpule of times in just a couple of days. The vets at Malta Animal Hospital and I think it is a possible mast cell tumor.

Simon is such a character. He's always trying to be near you and loves to watch TV shows. He gets along with everybody and everything. He loves food and will absolutely tell you when it's time for him to get fed. He plays everyday, one of his favorite toys is a monkey that he'll hold in his mouth as he falls asleep.

We've had a lot of expenses recently. Many expensive vet visits last year drained our funds. And now with an expensive tail amputaion that is urgently needed, we're not sure what to do. It would mean everything to me to spend more time with my oldest friend.
