Singe came into my girlfriend Heather’s life eight years ago as a stray kitten. She had been with her through some of the roughest moments of her life, and was often her only companion and friend. She is the most loyal, smart, loving cat and she is more like a child than a pet.

We attempted to get her fixed multiple times but she’s allergic to the anesthesia and it almost killed her. She became pregnant from a stray and just gave birth last night. Upon giving birth to two kittens that didn’t survive, she developed a prolapsed uterus. From what we’ve seen she doesn’t have much time and the surgery is way more than we can afford. We can’t give up on her but we need help.

Singe is very vocal, often chanting hello at us up and down the hall at night. She will know when you’re sick or upset, and she will snuggle with you and put her head against yours to make you feel better. She’s a selfless, sweet soul and she is a caregiver to all the young cats she meets. We can’t imagine life without her.

Heather is often hospital bound for long periods of time and needs surgery, and had applied for SSI which she is waiting for. We have her two children with us and she gets minimal support from and every week is paycheck to paycheck. This is the one emergency we can’t afford
