On September 15, 2021...my life changed FOREVER! I found a 3-month old kitten on Lake Spivey Parkway. He was injured and malnourished. Over the past 5 months, Luke has gotten much healthier, yet he has had many medical issues. Because Luke is happily active, he continues to reinjure his left paw. Now, Luke needs your help with his impending amputation, neutering, and kitten vaccinations.

A part of Luke's story has been shared via Facebook. He is a fun-loving little kitten that sometimes acts more like a puppy...LOL! He loves to be snuggled and thoroughly enjoys massages of his ears, head, back, and tail. Luke can be found running, playing, eating, and sleeping on any given day. He will not venture outside but Luke watches the birds and cars that drive by from our windows.

Luke's favorite pastime is trying to figure out ways to get into his automatic pet feeders. He understands English very well and has no issues "meowing" his likes and dislikes. Other fun activities include playing with bottle caps, gem clips, hard plastic, jumping from high places, and pushing the balls in his very first kitten toy. Luke has no issues finding new ways to entertain himself.

Luke was found with an injured left paw and an open wound (probably from dragging it on the ground). Due to the trauma caused by jumping from high places, Luke's paw has started to retain fluid. The daily force on his paw may negatively impact his overall health. Luke is scheduled for medical procedures at LifelineAnimal Project in Atlanta, Ga. with Dr. Flowers on March 9, 2022. I am praying.

Due to COVID-19, I worked only 10 out of 12 months in 2021. Luke came into my life at a time when money was limited, but I have been able to manage most of his expenses until now. Luke needs limb amputation, neutering, and vaccinations. Financial help is needed.
