Winston is a Scottish terrier. He came to us from Tennessee. He is a mostly an indoor dog and lives with me. Loves to be with his people. He is very social.

Winston has heartworm. Hes 3. The vet says he has a good chance of treatment. However treatments are very expensive and we dont have the funds to pay up front. Vet doesnt offer a payment plan. Without treatment this sweet silly boy will die. He helped heal our hearts after my son's grandmother passed...we hope to heal his now. Rome Animal Hospital.

3 years ago we brought this sweet feisty little guy into our lives. He is independent and strong willed. He isnt afraid to "back talk" with us. At the drive thru if he isnt handed a pupcup quick enough he may grumble at you. He will bring his toy to you and put it in your hand when he wants you to play with him. When we go for car rides he insists he's going even when we tell him hes.not going.

I work for a nonprofit caring for the terminally ill. I love my job but dont make alot of money and food/bills/gas are so expensive. Our dog is loved and seemed so healthy. Im so sad we are looking at saying goodbye so soon. I dont want him to die. He doesn't have to.
