About this campaign
After we moved into the house we noticed that Tikanni, our female husky, needed a playmate, more than what old Patch was able to give. So we decided to go look for another dog. We went to the Seattle Humane Society and found Sire and after playing with him for a bit knew he was the one to bring home. After a meet and greet with Tikanni and Patch we were able to adopt him.
Sire has been happy since day one, running around the yard and chasing balls and butterflies. He loves going to the dog park and running with his pack. He wrestles with Ghost, our youngest husky, and chases him around the back yard. He loves sleeping on the couch or on one of the dog beds. If a fly makes it into the house that's all he can think about, catching that fly.
If Sire hears a siren going down the street he starts howling with it like it's the song of his people. Now he's gotten Ghost to howl with him and the siren. He also has this thing about drinking water where he just drinks and drinks like he's not had any all day, even tho he has. We think he has a camel hump somewhere that he's filling up.
Sire has a cancerous lump on his anal gland that needs to be removed. I've taken him to the oncology department at a veterinary specialty hospital and spoken with our doctor about the next steps. They've already examined him and next we need to get imaging done. Then we can see about removal.
Sire is my big boy and he's such a lover. He has so much more life to live and I want him to be able to live it. The imaging is costing 2-3000 and the surgery is double that. I can't come up with that at one time. I only have one income.
