Sirius Black-Dog is 7-year-old potcake in Nelson, NH, who needs $1,900 for surgeries to repair torn ligaments in his hind legs, plus extensive rehabilitation.

Sirius Black-Dog (a huge Harry Potter fan) is our amazing Potcake rescue baby from the Turks and Caicos Islands. We tell him that he was delivered via Subaru with nothing to call his own but a small purple bear and a red puppy collar with hearts on it. He was all long skinny legs and huge ears and we could not have loved him more from day one. As a pup he would fall asleep on my husband's chest and now, at 70 pounds, he is still trying. He is our baby and my husband's first dog. He has been our constant travel and hiking companion until his knees went this past year. He loves to hunt sea glass with me on the beach and to chase balls in our backyard.
