Sis is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Saint Louis, MO, who needs $200 for Enema, Lactose, Anti-nausea Meds, Exam, Fluids.

I took Sis in from a family who barely gave her any attention. I live alone and am fairly isolated most of the time. So my boyfriend and his family suggested to me and Sis's previous family that I take her in. She clearly liked attention but was skittish and didn't know how to play gently. She quickly grew to trust me, though still scared of others, and is now gentle and loves cuddles and pets.

The vet said the condition is called Megacolon where the nerves in her colon don't work so she needs enemas, fluids, laxatives and more occasionally. She stopped eating and pooping again and started throwing up bile and blood and can't keep down water. She received some care yesterday but needs further treatment. The vet office is Animal Clinic South in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Sis is my best friend. She loves watching birds, plopping head first and exposing her belly for belly rubs, and is always open or scratches. She only lives with me and she has learned to trust my boyfriend, but is scared and hides when anyone else visits. But once it's just us again she's back out begging for pets. She loves rubbing against my legs and giving me a friendly gurgle hello.

I am applying for disability as I can't work due to multiple health problems including PTSD, severe anxiety, IBS, diabetes, autism, and depression. My family has stated they cover my utilities but will not help Sis. My boyfriend helped before but can't help further.
