Sissy is a 4.5-year-old Old English Bulldog in Royersford , PA, who needs $2,000 for Amputation.

Sissy is a typical stubborn, hungry, snoring bully girl. And, we love her! We came upon her accidentally while helping a friend move out of state (3 hours away!). We stopped for lunch and the restaurant was having a shelter adoption event. She had been left at a shelter in bad physical shape. We already had two dog-boys & 4 kids - no room for more - but she needed us. So, here we are...

Sissy loves to eat! If you have food, don't set it down or you'll risk losing it. She takes her meds like a champ with her favorite snack, peanut butter. She's usually napping, curled up alongside her brother, or laying on the porch in the sun, snoring the day away. When you leave the house & return, she's all smiles & does her bunny-hop dance with excitement. She's a Mama's girl!

Sissy likes to think she's the boss of her two brothers. She wasn't great with other dogs initially, it took months to get her acclimated into a large family, but now... she's a lover-bug that likes to cuddle in a puppy pile and play with ( or destroy) her toys. She's super lazy, loves to lay on the couch and snuggle with her Mama.

Sissy is plagued with a constant (stinky, pus-filled, gross) infection due to a bone inside her tail (at the base) digging into her bum, tearing into her flesh. It's a birth defect that happens with her breed causing her constant discomfort & an itch the just won't quit. The only course to curing her is to remove the bone completely, eliminating the issue.

Sissy deserves the best life has to offer. Unfortunately, in today's financial climate, it's hard for us to come up with extra cash for her surgery. We can handle the day to day - specialty food, allergy shots & medications, but for this we could use the help. Thank you!
