I am an over road truck driver who needed companionship while I was on the road, and Skeeter bug fit the bill and has enjoyed her time out on the road with me. She keeps me from being lonely and completes me, makes me smile. She makes everybody smile and laugh. She is friendly with love and just wants to be petted and show everyone else love. She is my heart, and to watch her go downhill is sad

My Skeeter had friends everywhere, at my work, has a brother in Kentucky or pit bull(ROCKO, who's awaiting surgery as well)that considers her his sister. He loves the way she jumps around him and will play with him. She was so energetic, dispite being cooped up in my truck, always watching the road. She is everything to me

When she was attacked, I hadn't seen the puncture. It was under her harness, where the pit got a tooth under and pierced her chest( Not her lungs thankfully), and snapped two bones in her foreleg. It is extremely swollen now, and is pussing from under her arm. Mission Animal Hospital is recommending 3 options: 1)setting and wrapping 2)plate and screws, or if all else won't fix it, 3) amputation

As I've said, I'm a truck driver who has been recently laid off, and I'm having to figure out how to get how to make this happen without an income. Again, she is everything to me. She is my life. She is as much my ESA as I am hers, and I love her
