About this campaign
Skittles was given to me by a family friend 2 years ago when I was starting over here in Fort Worth Texas . Having gotten out of Salvation Army shelter myself and living now on my own , I wanted a pet to keep each other company. She is a loving and friendly cat who is like my baby now and I really need the public’s help for paying for this unexpected medical emergency. Thank you
She is now living with another cat, Sheba, that I also took in to keep skittles company while I work and they love each other, never had any issues with them and they both sleep with me on my bed. Skittles is a very friendly cat who loves attention and petting. When visitors come over , she’s always looking to get petted.
My father passed away unexpectedly from COVID which was a major cost and wiped my savings away. And also paying for lawyers now to get a will and power of attorney for my moms care and now my cats expenses have really hurt my financial situation
My mom is currently staying with me due to my fathers passing from COVID, and she has dementia and forgot to not let skittles or Sheba out when opening door. Skittles ran out and got hit by a car and is being seen at Summer Creek animal hospital and has a dislocated hip bone and needing future treatments.
Skittles doesn’t meow she purrs and answers me when I’m giving her love and compliments or just plain talking to her about how my day went. To me she listens and always has something to say. She is a very young cat and has so much love to give . She usually sits around with the cutest poses and is very active and playful
