SKY is a 5 month old German Shepherd Dog in Salem, CT, who needs $5,000 for Fracture Supraglenoid Process of Left Scapula.

Meet SKY when we got her she was 18 weeks old. She was the last one of the first litter and in a very short time has become a very important part of our lives.

On June 14 I was looking to get insurance on SKY but with the many choices I decided to wait until later that day to buy it. My grand daughter came over that afternoon to play with SKY and SKY somehow ended up falling down a flight of stairs breaking a bone near the shoulder blade requiring a $5,000 surgery that including 2 screws and rubber bands.

Sky was a quick learner taking only 1 day to chase and bring back her Frisbee and learning to give her paw in one day also. Until she gets surgery which I can't afford, she won't be doing any running around and not having the surgery will be very bad for her long term.

She will be having surgery at Colchester Veterinary in Colchester, Ct and needs it done right away before it starts healing before the doctor can get everything aligned
