Sky is a 6 month old Miniature Schnauzer in St peters , MO, who needs $2,000 for Shunt.

Our puppy, Sky, came into our lives on November 28th, 2024, at the age of 9 weeks. We drove three hours to bring our baby girl home. We chose the name Sky because of her deep blue eyes. From day one, she has been the missing piece to our family, transforming us from a family of three into a family of four. Sky is playful and full of life, delighting both her furry friends and our human friends.

About four days ago, after receiving her booster shots, we decided to get some blood work done to ensure everything was okay. Unfortunately, the results indicated that she might need surgery. Sky has mild liver damage and requires a shunt. Before proceeding to the next step, an ultrasound is required for further investigation.

Sky's favorite toys are Mr. Butter and Mrs. Ketchup. They make satisfying crinkling sounds. Sometimes she switches it up and cuddles her giraffe stuffy that smells like her momma when we first got her.

We were not expecting to find this out, and we hope to get help to save our beloved pet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am currently in college and aim to graduate in 2026, but the financial pressure of possible surgery is overwhelming.
