I adopted Sky when she was 4 months old. She's 14 now. She isnt the typical dog; She loves thunderstorms and fireworks. It is our favorite thing to do, other than the park and movies. She thinks all creatures are her babies and will guard them with her whole self. She's an amazing furbaby and deserves the world on a platter.

She has lost her pack in under 2 years. Angel, Bunny and Raine were her siblings/pack. They had health issues with old age and crossed the rainbow bridge all in under 17 months. It has affected Sky in ways I cant put into words. She has a kitty that lives with her here but they only tolerate each other lol.

Sky will watch fireworks so intently that you can't get her attention. She thoroughly enjoys it. During thunderstorms she loves to sit on the deck with me and will fall asleep to the sound of thunder and rain. She loves to sing when the tornado siren goes off; part of living in Kansas.

Sky has been a pretty healthy baby until the last few years. Her dental disease has taken a toll this year. She has a abcess shes battling right now and needs surgery.

I was in college, about to finish my bachelors in applied science degree; when I was diagnosed with a brain disease called Chiari. I had to have brain surgery immediately and my life was forever changed. I went on disability and now live on $7300 a year.
