Hi everyone, my name is Elizabeth Tavera. This is Skye - my three year old cockapoodle and best friend to my 9 year old daughter. My daughter suffers from anxiety and is unable to socialize with kids her age so Skye has served as her anchor and emotional support.

My dog has a neurological disease where her back legs don't function, and to fix this she would have to go through surgery which is very pricey, the hospital that we took her to was in Brewster NY.

My dogs best friend is my daughter, Skye is very loving, loyal, and very supportive.
She's always full of joy and has a lot of energy, she loves playing and it is truly sad to see her not able to do the things she loves.

I am mother of four and I take care of two other kids, and this happening to Skye was not on my list, I wasn't prepared for this to happen. It is hard seeing Skye not moving around like she usually does and I would really appreciate any sort of help, she is an amazing dog.
