Skye is a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever in Edgewater, FL who needs $1,700 for heartworm treatment .

Skye’s previous owner contacted me through Facebook wishing to rehome Skye and her daughter Pebbles to me. She sent very old pictures. When I arrived I realized they were severely neglected. Fleas, chronic untreated allergies, skin and ear infections. Once I took then to the vet immediately, Skye tested positive for heat worms as well. Due to the chronic untreated allergies she had no fur on most of her face, ears, and legs. In addition, 3 days after I brought them home due to the untreated ear infection, Skye developed and horrible hematoma.
