I adopted Skyla when she was six weeks old as a rescue. At one point, during my college years, we were homeless and lived in my car while I attended classes. She would stay with friends during my time in class or at work. Eventually, I had her go through training to become a service dog as my dog trainer friend had noticed that she behaved differently when I was having health issues. She was a huge success and has since saved my life multiple times and kept me out of the hospital consistently. She is the most loyal creature ever and deserves all the happiness in the world for the work she’s done for me and the troubled times she’s lived through because of me.
