Skylar is a beautiful little girl with a very independent spirit. She was rescued, brought to me, when she was 5 weeks old because her mother could not take care of her and all of her siblings died; she is a survivor. She had the loudest cry when she wanted to be fed and demanded to be noticed. She loved to run all over the house to play and discover new things. When she was tired she would sleep on top of our golden retriever curled up in a ball. My grandchildren loved to play with her. Now that she is older, 9 years, she has slowed down quite a bit and enjoys sleeping in the sun as it shines through the window. However, when it is dinner time and the canned food top pops she runs to the kitchen to be fed first before her several housemates get to the food.
