Sly (Sylvester) was born in my barn from a feral cat that roams across rural pastures. She left him when he was 2 weeks old and never came back. I heard his hunger cries for help, moved all the bales of hay to find him crouched under a the pallet. He follows me everywhere I go. I adopted another kitten that was a little older so that he could have someone to play with. My children read to him everyday. My daughter loves to climb bales of hay with him and show him where it is safe to pay on the farm. My diabetic son has grown very attached.

I called around to find the least expensive clinic to help him out. We have a lot of animals that we care for already with medical needs and my son is a Type 1 Diabetic. We have already stretched our budget that we have enough to pay mortgage and feed everyone.
